A dolphin died after jumping out of a pool during a practice session, the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium said Sunday in Japan.
The 2.11-meter, 106-kg dolphin, estimated to be 17 years old, was popular with visitors for her jumping and tail-walking ability.
She fell into the gallery doing a backflip during practice Saturday afternoon, and died from blood loss from a damaged lung, the aquarium said.
