A Bottlenose dolphin mother chose to give her dead baby to the Dolphin Research Team in the Laguna Madre Bay, South Padre Island, TX, USA. They were concerned about being ostricized from the dolphins, instead the next day, the mothers and baby dolphins came in droves almost to say thank you for helping them. And now these kind people are even closer to the dolphins than they were before. This mother now has a new baby and it is doing very well!
